Most Conventional On-site Septic Systems include a Septic Tank that is buried under ground. From there, the partially treated liquid sewage (Effluent) flows out to a Distribution Box and then out to a Drain Field. Perforated Pipes allow the liquids to drain through a system of Gravel and Soil.
